Getting Started
Welcome!
glictionarÿ ( Ÿ ) is a fun, creative platform where anyone can invent, share, and discover unique wörds and the imaginative äüthörs behind them. In this v1.0 release, you can bröwse what others have made, sign up as an äüthör, buy crëdits to mïnt your own wörds, and follow your favourites to build a personal feed.
Ÿ also has a more serious side, with an underlying foundation built on Non-Fungible Tokens, better known as NFTs. If you haven't heard of them before, or don't know much about them, please don't stress. And definitely don't let that hold you back!

Creating an Account
Ready to join? Just click the "Sign In/Up" icon ( ) in the navbar atop the INFO, WÖRDS or ÄÜTHÖRS pages of the main app.
Note: You'll need an account to mïnt your own wörds, follow others or buy crëdits though.
Your First Steps
Here's a gentle path to get you going:
- Create an account and sign in (totally optional, but it unlocks the fun stuff!)
- Head to the WÖRDS page and click around to explore. Tap any wörd to open its details, then follow its backstürly - if it has one - if you want to learn more
- Visit the ÄÜTHÖRS page to discover creators who make you laugh (or think!)
- Follow a few äüthörs whose wörds resonate or intrigue - this will get your feed going
- When you're inspired, try mïnting your own wörd! (grab some crëdits from your wallet first).

Tapping on a wörd opens a pop-up offering lots of interesting info, icons and links. Things look a bit different if it's your own wörd (with edit & hide/reveal options) or someone else's (with a report button).

Handy Navigation Tips
- Tap the backstürly to dive into a wörd's backstory if it has one (they're optional).
- For your own wörds: Hit Edit to jump to your ÄÜTHÖRS page and tweak the backstürly via the pencil icon () you'll see on each card
- Click the NFT TokenID to open the Hedera Hashgraph explorer and see the full on-chain details of a wörd's NFT - including metadata, its SVG image and history
- Tapping the äüthör's name takes you to their profile
- Hide wörd keeps it private (you can reveal or unhide it again from your wörds list)
Coming soon:
Optional self-custody - letting you withdräw and dëpösit your NFTs, as well as tränsfër öwnership of your wörds will be enabled shortly!

Dive into the entire glictionarÿ right here! Search, sort (alphabetically or by date) and scroll to your heart's content. Fun fact: the wörd bröwse is actually gluï - the Graphical Language Understood Intuitively - and means 'to browse the glictionarÿ'

This is where the magic happens - turn your ideas into shiny new wörds, each with its NFT!
Create something unique
mïnting a wörd
- Sign in (required for mïnting)
- Hit the mïnt tab
- Make sure you have at least 1 crëdit (check your balance top-right)
- Enter your wörd and description. Click the icons for info, links to Unicode & emojis (for inspiration) and the backstürly rules
- Add a backstürly if you like (optional, and editable later)
- Accept our Terms of Use
- Read the notes at the bottom of the page - they're important!
- USE THE PREVIEW! - Check the SVG layout carefully - once mïnted, the design is permanent
- When you're ready... hit mïnt and watch your wörd come to life in seconds

Manage your own creations and crëdits, or explore what others are up to. See wörds, follows, and discover new people.

Your own profile vs. others
On your profile: backstürlys are editable, you can filter out wörds you've hidden and access your wallet. Moderated removals will show a notice.
On someone else's: You can bröwse their public wörds and follows. Hit "reload own profile" to switch back

The wörds tab shows any äüthör's wörds that have not been hidden. When viewing your own wörds, the ones you've hidden are also visible, with a noticable border, unless you filter them from the list using the checkbox at the top of the page.

Hit the follows tab to see who an äüthör is following ( ) and who follows them ( ). Tapping any äüthör's card loads their wörds and follows, but you can always reload yours

- Click the logo ( Ÿ ) in the top-left navigation bar to get back to the glictionarÿ's cover page
- Click on the navigation links (INFO, WÖRDS, ÄÜTHÖRS) to switch between the main pages
- Use the tab headers within each page to switch between different views
